Flow is in pre-release. Flow-Edge and the audit trail are part of the deployment offer (roadmap) — not capabilities marked live today. For status in writing: hello@theflow-ai.com.
Privileged material has a different risk profile than "sensitive data." Putting that material in someone else's cloud is the failure mode a firm has to be able to refuse.
The constraint
Firms and in-house teams face a specific version of the problem: the duty of confidentiality and the duty of technology competence point in opposite directions when the only available tooling requires uploading client material to a third party. Add the defensibility standard in e-discovery, and "the model produced this" is not a process you can put in front of a court.
How Flow addresses it
- Fully local deployment (Flow-Edge) — roadmap. When policy requires that client material stay inside the firm's own network, this is the deployment path designed into the engagement — not a live cloud toggle today.
- Immutable audit trail — roadmap. For regulated deployments, an append-only log is planned: what was reviewed, what was proposed, who approved it, and what was executed. Not a live product toggle today; closed in the engagement. That is the record you need when the process itself is challenged.
- Human approval gates. Judgment calls surface for a lawyer rather than executing silently.
- Deterministic execution. Workflow steps run under a strict runtime rather than free-form model output.
